Summary and Description
The Web Producer will be responsible for managing, updating and contributing to NYAM’s website, www.nyam.org. This position is part of the Office of Development and Communications team and reports to the Director of Communications. The qualified candidate is expected to understand the programs and research of NYAM and to effectively use technology to advance our mission.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and administer NYAM’s websites including the organization’s main site and project micro-sites Collaborate with key stakeholders across divisions to develop web-based solutions for projects, reports, email campaigns, and event management Create and manage multimedia content including Flash elements, audio slideshows, video and audio files Produce and maintain digital media content, including text, audio, video, digital photography and flash
Qualifications
Experience with web Content Management Systems including Convio Luminate CMS Experience with Luminate Online Experience with website analytics Experience with Search and Search Engine Optimization Proficiency in XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Graphics creation and optimization Multimedia production experience.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in website management and production. Ability to work independently, move projects from conceptual stages to launch, and handle multiple and often competing deadlines
