Staff Profile: Tongtan Chantarat

Tongtan Chantarat, MPH is a Research Analyst in the Center for Evaluation and Applied Research (CEAR) at NYAM. Mr. Chantarat provides analytical support and oversight data management for virtually all evaluation studies at CEAR that incorporate survey, electronic medical record and large public data. His epidemiological research focuses on linear, logistic and multi-level modeling, utilizing SAS, SPSS and Excel. Prior to joining NYAM, Mr. Chantarat was a Data Manager at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where he provided technical assistance to six NYC hospitals, helping them to establish comprehensive maternal child health data collection and reporting systems. Mr. Chantarat holds an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University and a BS in Marketing and Economics from the Ohio State University.
