Staff Profile: Sejal Gandhi

Sejal Gandhi, MA, CHES
Associate Director, Office of School Health Programs

Sejal Gandhi is a health educator with The New York Academy of Medicine Office of School Health Programs. She is currently the Associate Director of NYAM’s Office of School Health Programs.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Gandhi taught elementary school to a diverse student population. She was also responsible for facilitating health promotion workshops for students of color at the New York University Center for Health Promotion.

Ms. Gandhi holds a Masters degree in Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist credentialed by the National Commission for Health Education. She is also the Chair of the Education Committee for Akanksha, a non-profit organization headquartered in Mumbai, India, whose mission it is to help impact the lives of less privileged children.
