Staff Profile: Jacqueline Noguera

Jacqueline Noguera, M.Ed.
Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Communications and Chief Development Officer and Special Projects Manager, Development and Communications

Jacqueline Noguera is the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Communications and Chief Development Officer (VP/CDO) and Special Projects Manager, mostly in the areas of fundraising and external affairs. Jacqueline serves as administrative manager of the development office.
 
Prior to joining NYAM, and since 2007, Jacqueline worked as a private consultant with such organizations as The Episcopal Church on Haiti Relief, The Damon Runyon Foundation, St. John’s Queens Hospital, and Peter Gabriel’s human rights charity, WITNESS. She started her career in the nonprofit sector at the American Museum of Natural History working at the Rose Center for Earth and Space as a special assistant to the Director of Operations. Jacqueline previously served as a congressional-aide to the Honorable Henry B. Gonzalez (D-TX) on Capitol Hill.
 
Jacqueline holds a BA in Psychology and a double minor in Shakespeare Studies and Sociology from the University of Michigan. She is a New York City Teaching Fellow and received her Master’s in Education from Hunter College. She is also the co-founder the University of Michigan Entertainment Coalition. In 2008, she served as Field Organizer for Obama for America and has written for The Huffington Post as well as Shakespeare Quarterly. Jacqueline lives in New York City.
