Senior Policy Associate, Center for Health Policy and Programs
Ahsia Badi is a senior policy associate at the New York Academy of Medicine’s healthy aging program. She provides strategic assistance to neighborhoods, communities and civic organizations looking to become more inclusive of older adults, through the Age-friendly New York City initiative. Ahsia has 10+ years of experience in health, both as a Program Manager and as a clinician. As Program Manager she has directed multiple public health programs. First, at a public-private perinatal quality improvement program at Stanford University; second, at the Harlem Health Promotion Center at Columbia University. As a clinician she has worked as an Occupational Therapist treating children, adults and seniors in hospitals, schools and the broader community. Ahsia received her BS in Occupational Therapy and a BA in International Studies from the Ohio State University; She holds a MPH in Health Policy & Management from University of California, Berkeley.
