Complete Streets is an evidence-based strategy for improving bike and pedestrian accommodations in communities, making streets safer and encouraging greater physical activity which can lower rates of obesity and chronic disease. Hosted by DASH-NY this introduced participants in thinking about aspects of planning and implementing Complete Streets policies and projects. Nadine Lemmon from Tri-State Transportation Campaign, Christopher Eastman of NYS Department of State and Jamie Konkoski of North Country Healthy Heart Network shared information on the tools needed for planning and implementing effective and sustainable Complete Streets policies and projects.

Part 2 of the Complete Street webinar focused on identifying and securing funds for your complete Street projects and how to get more money flowing to your region.
