WINTERKILL, written and performed by Denise Flemming, is a tour de force theatrical experience that divulges hidden personalities buried in an abusive past. The play captures a psychological illness rarely discussed in communities of color. And Ms. Flemming’s riveting portrayal reveals that the abuse we experience as young people truly affects us for a lifetime.
This performance will be followed by a panel discussion with Denise Flemming and certified health practitioners.
Denise Flemming is a Chicago, lL native. She began her training at Hull House Theatre in Chicago and later created WINTERKILL for her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
