In honor of Arlene Shaner, Historical Collections Librarian of The New York Academy of Medicine Library, the Shaner Acquisition Fund has been created to enhance the Library’s collections through the purchase of rare books, supporting secondary sources and an Acquisition Night designed to showcase the newly acquired books and further build interest in the collections and Library.

Donate to the Shaner Acquisition Fund

The New York Academy of Medicine is grateful to Dr. Mario Molina for his very generous support in matching all individual gifts to the Shaner Acquisition Fund up to a total of $25,000.
