About the Speaker
Philip Vassallo, Ed. D. has developed, delivered, and supervised in-person and online communication training programs to thousands of professionals. He has taught on the college and graduate levels for more than 25 years, most recently serving on the faculty of the Beijing International MBA program. Dr. Vassallo has served as an essay and speech evaluator for the Educational Testing Service on standardized tests and has provided writing coaching and assessment for executive, managerial, and technical staff. He is the author of How to Write Fast Under Pressure, The Art of E-Mail Writing, and The Art of On-the-Job Writing. He holds a B.A. in English from Baruch College, an M.S. in education from Lehman College, and a doctorate in educational theory from Rutgers University. He is a past president of the New Jersey College English Association.
