About the Speaker
Jane C. Geever is the Chairman of J.C. Geever, Inc., which she founded in 1975, and is on the faculty of Columbia University where she teaches in their Master's Degree program on fund raising. Recognized as a leader in the field of fund raising and philanthropy, she appears nationally as a speaker and lecturer and presents seminars for the Foundation Center based on her book, The Foundation Center’s Guide to Proposal Writing. She continues to contribute numerous articles and chapters to the literature on philanthropy and fund raising. She holds a Master’s Degree from the New School for Social Research, has completed postgraduate studies at Stanford University, and holds an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from her alma mater, Seton Hill College.
