Malini Doddamani

Malini Doddamani is the Director of Communications. She directs the office’s operations and is responsible for marketing the Academy’s activities and building the awareness and visibility of the organization and its mission. Previous to NYAM, she served as the Director, Public Affairs and Publications at The University of the Arts, Philadelphia and the Associate Director, Public Affairs, Yale Center for International and Area Studies. She headed the Public Relations Office at St George’s University in Grenada, and has worked as a journalist in the Caribbean, India and the United States. She received her MA in Journalism from the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University and her BA from the University of Toronto, Canada.
