Kavita Kapur

Kavita Kapur is a Development Associate for Corporate and Foundation Relations in the Office of Development and Communications at The New York Academy of Medicine.

Ms. Kapur earned a Master of Public Administration from the New York University Wagner School of Public Service in 2006, and a BA in Communications from North Carolina State University in 2000. Most recently she served as the Program Director for the British-American Project coordinating the U.S. Executive Committee on strategic planning efforts, and as a research assistant at NYU's Wagner School, where she developed a leadership network of health executives in Sub-Saharan Africa. Earlier, Ms. Kapur served as the Executive Director of Self Knowledge Symposium Foundation, raising the annual budget for this ambitious national organization dedicated to interfaith programs for college students.
