The Section on Health Care Delivery was formed in 1995 with the purpose of developing educational programs on delivery, policy and economics of health care and on health care management and administration, and providing a framework for developing strategies in health policy.

Session 1 - Planning the Health Care System for the 21st Century

In the first session, the leaders of the Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century, a non-partisan panel established by the Governor and the Legislature, will describe how, over the next year, the Commission will go about making recommendations to reconfigure the NYS healthcare system to improve access to high quality care at an affordable cost.

Session 2 - Visions for the Health Care System of the 21st Century
In the second session, key thinkers and leaders in the healthcare - acute care, long term care and ambulatory care - will reflect on their visions for the NYS healthcare system in the 21st century.
In both sessions there will be ample opportunity for dialogue between the speaker and the audience.
