DANIELLE SLUTSKER

Danielle Slutsker is a Health Educator with The New York Academy of Medicine Office of School Health Programs. She is currently a Project Director working on a variety of projects, specifically focusing on the Partnering with English and Spanish Speaking Parents to Prevent Obesity and Diabetes program, to promote healthy eating and physical activity and prevent the rise of childhood obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Danielle also collaborates on the Junior Fellows Program, the Scholars Program, and the Moving from Crisis to Hope for Well-Being Program.

Ms. Slutsker earned a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work specializing in Children and Family Services from the Columbia University School of Social Work. She has experience developing and implementing training programs for parents, caregivers, family members, and school administrators on social, emotional, mental, and physical health needs, and in coordinating and providing mental health services to children and families.
