Gabriel Cohen
Gabriel Cohen joined the Division of Health Policy in August 2007 as a Policy Analyst. He is currently working on "Blueprint for a Healthier America," a national initiative to describe the resources and infrastructure needed for a modern public health system. He is also working on a New York State initiative to improve health reentry services for prisoners and to ensure that they receive Medicaid upon release. Gabriel graduated from Princeton University with an BA in Molecular Biology. His senior thesis analyzed the ethics of HIV testing policy in the United States with regard to the recent CDC recommendations which called for the elimination of written, informed consent. He is a Princeton Project 55 Fellow.
