Ana Garcia

Ana Garcia, MPA, joined the Division of Health Policy as a Policy Associate in July 2007. She has 10 years experience supporting and advocating for community-based health care at the national, state, and local levels. She has worked with a variety of nonprofit and government organizations, including the Vermont Department of Health, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Union of Palestinian Medical Relief Committees in the West Bank. Her focus areas for NYAM include primary care, public health, aging, and child health. She holds an MPA from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
