Historical Note
The Eastern Association of Graduates of the Angle School of Orthodontia formed on June 11, 1909. Members were students of Dr. Edward H. Angle, an innovator in the field of orthodontics (membership was limited for other individuals). As stated in the Association's constitution, its purpose was "the study of orthodontia, its advancement, and the promulgation of the welfare of the Angle School, and its Alumni Society." After the close of the Angle School and the death of Dr. Angle in 1930, the Association faced a diminishing membership. At 1939 annual meeting, the Association brought its existence to an end.
