January is Glaucoma Awareness Month, when the medical community aims to spread information about the disease, which causes loss of vision and affects millions of people worldwide. Joseph Lovatt released the documentary “Going Blind: Coming out of the Dark About Vision Loss” in 2010, as he began to lose his own sight.
