The Spring Stated Meeting of The New York Academy of Medicine was held May 20 in the Academy library, and was an elegant success. The black-tie dinner and reception attracted distinguished Academy fellows, who enjoyed an evening of interesting conversation and exquisite food while honoring some of medicine's most innovative leaders. The event is an annual affair, held in the Academy's historic Library, which houses the second largest medical collecton in the U.S. and is the only medical library in the New York Metropolitan area that is open to the public.

Lee C. Bollinger, incoming President of Columbia University, addressed guests at the 155th annual Stated Meeting of The New York Academy of Medicine, held May 20 in the Academy's historic library.
