Academy Scientists Presenting a Broad Spectrum of Urban Health Research at APHA Conference in Washington, DC, November 4-7

NEW YORK CITY, Oct. 26 ??? More than a dozen Academy scientists will present their new urban health research findings next Sunday, Nov. 4 through Wednesday, Nov. 7 at the American Public Health Association’s 135th Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C. NYAM Report - Federal Health Care Reform in New York State: A Population Health Perspective

The New York Academy of Medicine with support from the New York State Heath Foundation released a new report, Federal Health Care Reform in New York State: A Population Health Perspective.

This report identifies opportunities that build on both the Patient Protection and Affordable Health Care Act (ACA) and New York’s ongoing efforts toward improving the health of its 19 million residents.
