Senator Kerry Introduces Care Coordination for Older Americans Act (CCOAA)
On August 1, 2012, Senator John F. Kerry introduced Senate bill, 3465, the “Care Coordination for Older Americans Act of 2012.” In his opening remarks, Senator Kerry acknowledged the “pivotal … assistance” provided by N3C in developing the definition for care coordination used in the new bill. Acknowledgements were also given to N3C member organizations for their support and respective contributions to developing this significant progress toward OAA Reauthorization.
