Did you know that approximately 50 NYC babies die every year from a preventable, sleep-related injury?
Join a diverse group of professionals, advocates, and community leaders for a planning summit focused on building collaboration and taking action to protect infants from sleep-related fatalities.
Learn more about some of the barriers, myths, and racial disparity issues that impact safe sleep practices and contribute to sleep-related injury deaths. Attend interactive panels to hear the latest research, safety guidelines, and evidence-informed strategies from the ACS Safe Sleep Initiative team, our partners, and other issue experts.
Get creative ideas for how to use existing resources and obtain free materials to help engage and educate families in your community.
Network with city agencies, CBOs, and others interested in forming partnerships, improving policies, and raising awareness to reduce sleep-related infant mortality rates in NYC.
Together, we can spread the word, reduce the risk, and keep babies safe.
Lunch will be provided.
