Dear Friends:
The COVID-19 pandemic is a once-in-a-generation event for New York. The pandemic has affected all aspects of our lives, upending our usual patterns of work and home, and bringing suffering and death to thousands. The NYAM Library is chronicling the effect of the pandemic on New York City and the metropolitan region. You are part of that chronicle, and we invite you to share your story with us: actions that you have taken, stories of how your workplace or your family has responded, pictures or videos that you have created. We hope you will share your story with us through this online site.
A few guidelines: we ask that you only share what you have created. When you donate your stories, images, videos, or other material to the Library, that content will become part of the NYAM collections. The materials that you donate may be made available to the public and may be part of public exhibits.
