Join us for a private hard hat tour of the hospital zone at Ellis Island, one of the most important public health locations in New York City. Guides from Save Ellis Island will take participants on a 90 minute tour of the infectious and contagious disease wards, the kitchen, staff housing, the autopsy room, and the laundry room of the hospital site.

We will meet at 10:00 AM in Battery Park to travel together by ferry to Ellis Island. The tour will be finished at 1:30 PM. Guests may stay on the island for further sightseeing, or return with the group to enjoy lunch at the historic Fraunces Tavern on Pearl Street in lower Manhattan.

Tickets include ferry transportation and the tour. Lunch will be pay-as-you-go, if you wish to join us.
